Children who are victims of severe bullying at school can have long lasting mental health issues. We understand the consequences of it and the need to address the issue. Our experienced team of therapists work with families and children to help and support in overcoming the trauma, and instil coping mechanism in case of re-occurrence.
Based on an assessment, we create a personal intervention plan for each child and adolescent. This involves individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy or a combination of approaches. The goal is to build resilience and coping skills, improve self-esteem and self-confidence and reduce the impact of bullying on mental health.
In addition to individualised programs, we may also work with schools and families to prevent bullying from happening. This involves training of teachers and parents on how to identify and address bullying, promoting a positive culture in school and encouraging reporting.
